Michelle Barbour Perry, ACNP, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of Virginia in 1999, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2004.

After working as a cardiac nurse in the Cardiac Surgery ICU at the Medical College of Virginia for three years, she joined them as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in 2004. She joined the staff of Cardiovascular Center of Hampton Roads in 2005, and has been practicing as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She focuses on the care of cardiac patients, specializing in congestive heart failure management and risk factor reduction with cardiac health promotion, including hypertention, lipid management, and smoking cessation. In conjunction with our cardiologists, Michelle oversees our stress testing department at our Port Warwick office. She is Board Certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
